We’re having a post PodCamp brunch today at 10am at the Panera Bread (3625 Fishinger Blvd, Hilliard, OH 43026) by ITT (map) Technical Institute. We have extra chocolate candy buckeyes to give away, so if you like chocolate and peanut butter, you’ll want to come to this brunch.

Here are the first two videos from the Podcamp meetup in Columbus a couple weeks ago. In the first, you can see a bit of our Panera time and then little tidbits of our wanderings through ITT Tech. The second reveals that no one at ITT Tech likes podcasting and we epic fail at interviewing.

PodCamp Meetup 6 This Saturday!

This will be the second last meetup before PodCamp! Meetup 6 will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 11:00 am - 1:00 PM at the Hilliard Panara Bread (3625 Fishinger Blvd, Hilliard, OH 43026) close to ITT Technical Institute (map). Immediately following, we will visit ITT for event organizers and volunteers to check out the facilities.

PodCamp Meetup 5 was a great one! Brandice, Joe, Matt, Doctor Anonymous and Angelo discussed PodCamp, sessions, laptop stickers and camera equipment. The last 30 minutes or so we goofed off with the video cameras. Check out Doctor Anonymous’s video of the meetup to get an idea how much fun it was!

Did you know there are other events in Columbus the same weekend as Podcamp Ohio? We obviously want to see you at all of our events, but there are also a lot of great things to check out while you’re in the area.

The Podcamp Ohio event isn’t during football or hockey season, but it does coincide with ComFest, a very special community event that takes place every year in Columbus and would be a great addition to your trip if you have the time. There is a great write-up on what ComFest is all about on their website.

Podcamp Ohio is also the same weekend as Columbus Pride Festival, which is described by many as one of the best pride events in Ohio. If you’d like to support the GLBTQ community and you have the free time while you’re in Columbus, feel free to stop by that event as well.

For those driving from as far as Cleveland, the new Ohio Ikea’s grand opening is that weekend. The new Ikea is within 2 exits of the Tri-county mall (Same exit as the Cincinnati Microcenter). That news may make it more worth while to make the 4 hour drive.
