WordCamp Columbus 2 / PodCamp Ohio 3 coming Saturday, June 19, 2010 at The Ohio State University (125 S Oval Mall Columbus, OH 43210). Registration starts at 8:30 am with the opening session starting at 9:30 am.
Construction season in Central Ohio has started, so please be extra careful while traveling to Columbus this weekend. More importantly, route 315 near OSU Campus has some lane and exit ramp closures. Columbus police are targeting the area for speeding, so please take extra caution if you are coming to PodCamp via route 315.

Approaching from Ohio Route 315
Take the Lane Avenue exit and go East (right turn if coming from the South, left turn if coming from the North). Continue on Lane Avenue about 1.2 miles. Turn right onto High Street. Approximately 0.5 mile on High Street you should come to the Ohio Union parking garage on your right.Approaching from Interstate 71
Take the 11th Avenue exit and go West (left turn if coming from the South, right turn if coming from the North). 11th Avenue will become a one way street about 0.6 mile, you will briefly turn right onto Grant Avenue then promptly turn left onto Chittenden Avenue. Continue on Chittenden Avenue approximately 0.6 mile until you come to High Street. Turn right onto High Street. The Ohio Union Parking Garage will be about 0.3 mile on your left.
At 7 pm organizers, volunteers and attendees are invited to meetup at Champps Restaurant (1827 Olentangy River Rd Columbus, OH 43212). Champps will be providing free appetizers with a purchase. We have over 30 sessions lined up for this year! Because of the number of sessions, we are still ironing out the times and rooms. Everyone is more than welcome to view the latest session schedule (link: http://www.podcampohio.com/schedule.html). Please keep in mind that the schedule may change between now and Saturday.
All of the session rooms will have a projector as well as wired Internet access. Speakers are encouraged to bring their own VGA cables.
Everyone is welcome to record sessions either in video and/or audio. Following the event, please email media@podcampohio.com with your recordings linked (or attached if under 10MB) along with the title of the session and any notes if appropriate. We will post the session recordings on the PodCamp Ohio blog as we get them.
All content created must be released under a Creative Commons license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/). In a nutshell, anyone can record sessions, speakers must be attributed and the media must be non-commercial.
